3 months old
As usual, my monthly update is a day late! Life is still a bit of a roller-coaster, only it is starting to even out a bit and feel more normal. We tried so hard to get her to smile for these photos, but she is totally camera shy. I'll have to sneak up on her sometime! Yes, look closely to see that Matthew put a golf club in her hands and whispers "LPGA, Golf, Golf, Golf" to her.
Big Events:
March Madness! Grandma and Grandpa Cook and Aunt Karmen came to watch Baylor compete in the Elite 8.
Still loving the mobile, but the cow I hung from the play mat seems to be her favorite. She fusses if we lay her down where she can't see it.
Loves the church/BSF nursery swing - will sleep in it and wake up happy to just watch everything going on.
Developments:
Slept through the night 6 nights in a row, then hit a growth spurt which messed everything up.
Moving into 3-6 month outfits
Nurses every 3 hours for about 20 minutes.
Weighs about 13 lbs according to my scales.
Starting sucking her thumb consistently. This picture on our way home from the hospital predicted this development:
